As long as the coronavirus remains under control, more space will be created step by step. As of June 1st, we are open again and welcome you again on our terrace and inside our beautiful Bistro. To ensure that you can meet safely and responsibly in Bistro Berlage, we have been busy behind the scenes to take all necessary measures. But we have also prepared something special…

Imagine dining on the spot where Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima were married in 2002! As soon as the corona measures for the catering industry will also be mitigated, you can! Exclusively on Saturday evenings in July, we will expand Bistro Berlage by moving the tables of our Bistro to the Grote Zaal of the Beurs van Berlage, in order to be able to pamper our guests after all these weeks of social lock-down, in a very exclusive place. We will provide an evening with an extensive three-course dinner of your choice from our new menu, with matching wines. During your dinner you will learn more about the history of the Beurs and its architect. After your special evening, you will go home with the new Beurs van Berlage book, in which you can quietly enjoy the splendour of the monumental Beurs in your own home.

How about a steak tartare with caper salt and smoked tomato gel, followed by a beef steak  with celeriac cream and a port sauce, topped off with a selection of Dutch cheese with white chocolate cream and parsnip. Or will you go for the vegetarian option where we start with a soufflé of Gruyère with frisée salad, followed by puy lentils with aubergine and finish with a crème brûlée of citrus and Tony’s Chocolonely’s ice cream? For the fish lovers, we have pulled crab and marinated prawns as a starter, followed by sustainably caught tuna steak with pearl barley and we finish with a delicious chocolate moelleux from Tony’s Chocolonely with tonka bean ice cream and caramel sauce.

Would you also like to have dinner at the place where our Royal couple got married? Then take an option on a table now. Let us know which Saturday in July has your preference and will contact you to arrange the Saturday on which we can spoil you. Send an email to info@bistroberlage.com with the subject “Bistro Berlage to the Beurs". Clearly state in this:
  1. The preferred date (July 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th)
  2. Your name and telephone number
  3. How many people you would likt to come with
  4. Whether you have special dietary requirements
In addition to the exclusive Saturdays in the Grote Zaal of the Beurs van Berlage, Bistro Berlage has been open again as of June 1st, with a wide-set terrace on Beursplein and with an adjusted table layout inside the Bistro, so that here too there is sufficient distance and the precautions of RIVM can be followed.
