Location & Accessibility
Where exactly is Bistro Berlage located?
Bistro Berlage is located in the Beurs van Berlage at Beursplein 1 (1012 JW), Amsterdam.
How far is the restaurant located from Amsterdam Central Station?
From Amsterdam Central Station, it’s about a 5-minute walk (approx. 300 metres) to Bistro Berlage.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes. Nearby parking options include Q-Park de Bijenkorf and Parking Center Oosterdok.
Opening Hours & Reservations
What are your regular opening hours?
Bistro Berlage is open the entire week from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Can I visit without a reservation?
Yes, you are welcome to walk in without a reservation. However, making a reservation is recommended to avoid waiting times.
How can I make a reservation?
You can easily make a reservation via the Bistro Berlage reservation page.
How can I change or cancel my reservation?
You can modify or cancel your reservation at Bistro Berlage through your confirmation email.
Can I stop by just for drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to visit for drinks only. There is no need to indicate this in advance, and no priority is given to guests dining over those having drinks.
Are you open during public holidays?
Bistro Berlage is closed on King’s Day, during Pride, on Christmas Day, and on New Year’s Day. Please note that the restaurant may occasionally be privately booked; this will be announced online.
Group Bookings
How can I make a group reservation?
You can easily make a group reservation via the group reservation page on our website. For groups of up to 15 people, you can book directly online. For groups of 16 or more, you can submit a request via the same page.
Is it possible to (partially) rent Bistro Berlage for a private event?
Yes, it is possible to rent Bistro Berlage in full or partially. Simply fill out the request form, and one of our colleagues will contact you to discuss the options.
How far in advance should I request a group booking?
For groups of 15 to 25 people, we ask that you book at least 3 days in advance. Larger groups and full buy-outs must be discussed and confirmed at least 1 week in advance. Exceptions may be possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
Do you offer packages for business drinks or meetings?
Yes, we offer a wide range of options tailored to your wishes. After submitting a request, we will discuss the possibilities with you. For groups, various three-course menus are available, and drinks packages or other arrangements can also be organised in consultation with one of our colleagues.
Can I make a reservation at the terrace for my group?
Yes, this is possible during the period when the terrace is open. Please contact us via the request form so we can discuss the options.
Can dietary requirements and allergies be taken into account for group arrangements?
Absolutely. For group arrangements, we can accommodate (almost) all dietary requirements and allergies. Please let us know in advance, we are happy to assist.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-friendly options?
Yes, Bistro Berlage offers several vegetarian and vegan options. Do you have an allergy? Please inform one of our staff members, and we will be happy to discuss the possibilities.
What drinks do you serve?
Bistro Berlage offers a wide selection of beverages, including coffee, tea, soft drinks, wine, beer, and cocktails.
Do you serve cocktails?
Yes, Bistro Berlage serves a selection of cocktails, prepared to perfection by our bartender.
Do you offer halal or kosher dishes?
No, Bistro Berlage does not offer halal or kosher meat dishes. However, there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available.
(Raised) Terrace Setting
When are the terrace and raised terrace open?
The terrace is generally open from 1 March till 30 September. In good weather, the terrace may remain open outside this period. The raised terrace is always open.
Can I reserve a table on the terrace or raised terrace?
Yes, you can. When making your reservation, you can indicate your preference for the terrace or the raised terrace.
Can I make a group reservation for the terrace and/or raised terrace?
Yes, that is possible. Please fill out the reservation form and contact us to discuss the possibilities.
Are the terrace and raised terrace covered in case of bad weather?
Partially. The raised terrace has two tables under a canopy, and umbrellas are available on the terrace. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be fully sheltered in bad weather.
Services & Facilities
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Bistro Berlage provides a fast Wi-Fi connection. The password can be found on the menu.
Is Bistro Berlage suitable for business lunches or small events?
Yes, Bistro Berlage can be arranged according to your requirements. Full buy-outs are also possible. Please complete the reservation form to discuss the options with us.
Do you accept credit cards and international payment methods?
Yes, almost all payment methods are accepted at Bistro Berlage. Please note that American Express is not accepted.
Sustainability & Local Products
Does Bistro Berlage work with local suppliers?
Yes, Bistro Berlage works closely with Holtkamp, Wynand Fockink and Boeren van Amstel.
How do you approach seasonal produce, food waste and sustainability?
Bistro Berlage works with a seasonal menu, updating dishes in line with the seasons. In addition, Bistro Berlage will be completely gas-free by the end of 2026. We are also actively working to minimise food waste, for example by purchasing efficiently and limiting surplus as much as possible.
